*Ages 8–14yrs*
A space for young shredders to build skills, confidence, and community — on and off the bike.
These 3-hour school holiday sessions are designed specifically for girls aged 8–14 who are curious about mountain biking, already riding trails, or lining up at races. Whether they’re brand new to MTB or pushing at a competitive level, this is a space to grow, connect, and ride together.
We see a gap in junior girls riding groups — and we’re here to change that. Our goal is to build a crew of young riders who feel confident riding all year round, who support each other, and who know they belong on the trails.
Session Overview:
Running on the first Monday of the school holidays, with two sessions available (AM or PM), each 3-hour block focuses on:
Skill development and progression
Building trail confidence
Creating connection between peers
Learning to ride safely and with control
Having a whole lot of fun
Riders can drop in for one session or stay for both. If attending both, a $20 lunch supervision fee applies to cover care during the break.
Our coaching team is made up entirely of female coaches, with a dedicated lead and tail rider for each group. We create supportive riding groups so every girl feels safe, seen, and challenged at the right level.
More Than Just Riding
MTB is a lifelong sport that builds resilience, independence, community, and confidence. It creates strong young women who trust themselves, back their abilities, and aren’t afraid to take up space.
This space is for all girls.
Some of our coaches ride with their hair and makeup done. Some wear pink. Some rock baggies and the tomboy vibe. There’s no one way to be a rider — and no one way to be a girl.
If you’re curious about riding, this is your invitation.
We’re also exploring the introduction of a junior mixed session on Thursdays — helping break down gender barriers and grow a stronger riding community for all young shredders.
Time: 3hrs per session (9-12 or 1-4)
Age Group: 8–14yrs
Lunch Supervision (if staying all day): $20
Riders must supply their own bike, food, water, and safety gear (helmet, enclosed shoes, and pads).
