Ready to hit the Intermediate trails and start adding in the dynamic challenges of rock, root and corner features?
Our Intermediate Trail Skills course is aimed at intermediate riders wanting to push themselves to more advanced terrain. With a focus on bike body separation and staying centred, we will explore terrain awareness, new ways to tackle tricky terrain (up and down) and rolls with maximum traction and control. Allowing you to get the most out of each trail.
Course description:
This course looks to build on the fundamentals using a range of drills and on trail experience, to set riders up with the skills to conquer intermediate trails and features.
Starting by building on the key skill of terrain awareness, developing our body position to give us power uphill and then practicing specific drills and skills that transfer to the new terrain blue trails throw at us.
We take it to the trails exploring how we apply these new skills on features and start to discuss the importance of a full tool box, which allows us to draw on a range of skills to attack features.
This course is aimed at confident Green/Blue trail riders. Recommend for riders with 12 months or more experience. Held on a blue trail and led by one of Huck Its experienced Coaches it focuses on developing the skills required to hit blue trails safely and sets up riders for the skills specific courses.
