Cornering Series

Duration: 3 Hours
Location: The Black Stump Kalamunda
Cost: $100 per person
Prerequisite courses: MTB Fundamentals

From fast flowy berms to tricky flat off camber – cruise all the types of corners the trails throw at you.

The Cornering Series is built to develop confidence and traction in the vast range of turns our trails have to offer. Part 1 – Flat to Berm explores the next steps in corner skill development. Building on the learnings of MTB Fundamentals, this course levels up intermediate riders to hit corners with more control and grip.

Course description:

Combining both park drills and on trail learning this course is designed to further develop your cornering techniques.

In this course we build on the fundamentals of body position and angulation in corners, diving deeper into how each can improve our traction and control. We then start to explore how we can further separate ourselves and start to move independently from the bike to progress our flow and line through the corners.

As we find new confidence and speed we look at how we can apply these techniques and skills to the different types of corners we find throughout the WA trails. Having the opportunity to then session and apply these skills to the trail, while gaining instant feedback.

This course is aimed at confident Green and intermediate trail riders. Recommend for riders achieving top to bottoms on green or blue trails. Held on green and blue trails and led by one of Huck Its experienced Coaches it focuses on developing the key skills needed to progress your cornering to the next level.
